Carob Liqueur

Carob is a Mediterranean plant that has spread all over the world. The word "carat" comes from the carob tree, whose seeds were used as the standard for weighing precious stones. This liqueur obtained from the dried ripe fruit of carob contains vitamins and minerals, effective in treatment of diarrhea and stomach poisoning. Serve slightly chilled as an appetizer or in addition to desserts and creams for cakes.
